Do we always have a choice?
Choices, options, alternatives - these are just ideal ideas to a not-so-ideal world.
For instance: Theoretically I should and could quit my job if I were unhappy in it.
Actual situation: When you've got debts, bills, loans and other things to pay off each month, the cash-strapped situation will bring upon yet another wave of unhappiness. Isn't it such a vicious cycle?
Rights are also undermined these days.
For instance: It is our right to get X number of days off a year.
Actual situation: If our right is truly respected, why are we still expected to torture ourselves right before a block leave by completing an insane amount of work in an insane amount of time just so we can "rightfully" go on leave without "inconveniencing" someone else?
I'm so sick of ranting. I really don't want to do this. Is it time to do something radical?
