Lazy,,

Been sometime since my last post. Getting lazy heh....

Excited over many things.. WAT in USA.. post-fyp celebration plans.. and of course the upcoming HK trip.. =)

Enjoyed talking with (x) at Swensens tonight. We concluded that most people in our school are idealists and have ambitions too lofty for our own good.

We are determined to live a life less ordinary, to traverse the globe, to look beyond our tiny island for opportunities but as to how exactly we are going to achieve all these, we're still trying to figure it out...

Maybe as H pointed out the other time, it is true that in CS, we can be more daring in our ambitions because most of our families are financially comfortable. He said many of the lower-middle class students tend to choose to pursue more "practical" courses like engineering because they are more or less guaranteed of a well-paying job upon graduation.

As (x) and I were saying, they are also the ones who do not mind living out their lives the same way every day for the next 30 years - waking up at 7, working from 9 to 5 in their business attires, getting married at 26, have 2 kids by 30... etc...

No offence to anyone but it is the kind of life that, we think, may bring certain regrets many years later...
