last lap of the race
feeling much more relaxed than i'd ever been in weeks. the end is near.. i can smell it!! *grin*
gonna totally soak in the feeling of not having anything to do for at least a month though some ppl tell me i'll get bored v soon which i highly doubt will happen!!! :p
anyways, had a nice looooong (>2hr) lunch with my colleagues today. as expected, it was a half-bitching session again helmed by the 2 men in the group. they're really gd at this shit.
we ate at din tai fung and for some reason, no one wanted to touch the last xiao long bao but J kept urging us to take it. "it's 85 cents there you know," he said. not that we cared cos typically girls don't like to take the last piece of food on the plate when they r not with their close friends. so becos of that, the 2 guys loaded us with this theory:
when guys look at food, they think this is worth $1 (lifting up a glass to demonstrate), this is worth $5 (lifting up a bowl of noodles). but when women look at a xiao long bao for example, they'll think of it as a piece of meat and would rather leave the meat for others. how true. but then lidat quite good what.. the food that we don't want to eat, the guys can finish them up for us since they r always not full enuff!
also found out from them there are actually condoms with burburry checkers on them.. they cost 30 bux or something.. *guffaws* who the hell would want to spend the money to make their most precious body part look so ridiculous?!? hahaha.. oh well.. quite a hilarious afternoon.. may miss that bunch of ppl when we leave in a few days.. hehs..
